HIKING in Northwest Colorado
Moffat County offers a variety of hiking experiences. Trails and trail conditions vary from the very easy (short day hike, suitable for all ages) to the very difficult scramble routes recommended for the experienced, physically fit hiker.
The following is a list of trails. Hikers, regardless of age or experience, should go prepared. Carry water and some sort of sun protection. Weather in Colorado mountain country and high prairies can change very quickly from fair warm conditions to cold and wet. For more information on specific trails, contact the Craig Chamber of Commerce.
